Under the supervision of Dr. Yaseen T. Mustafa, and in coordination between the Language Center, the Pedagogy and Academic Development Center, and the College of Engineering, an “Advanced English Language Program for Engineering Faculty Students” was launched, with the participation of a group of engineering students on July 26, 2023.

The program, tailored specifically for students of the College of Engineering, was organized by the Director of the Language Center, Dr. Ivan H. Murad, in collaboration with the Director of the Pedagogy and Academic Development Center, Dr. Sattar J. Haji, and with the coordination of Ms. Dimen Z. Jacksi, a lecturer from the WED program at the College of Engineering.

The program focuses on topics relevant to engineering and is designed to run for one month. Sessions are held directly on the university campus and are also accessible online for students who cannot attend in person.

It is worth noting that this is the first time a program has been designed specifically for a particular college. Upon completion of the program, participating students will receive certificates after the two-month evaluation period.
